Outreach

Being the hands and feet of Jesus are an essential part of our walk with him.  We love to provide opportunities to show the love of Jesus in very tangible ways!

Manna Ministry

Food Pantry:  Meeting a need in our community.  We offer food to those who are going through financial difficulties.  Volunteers are needed to pack food boxes, unload and organize the pantry and serve in the community.  Volunteers are asked for help on an "as needed" basis.

Thanksgiving Baskets:  This ministry collects all the fixins' for a traditional Thanksgiving meal for families in need in our community.  We also get the opportunity to deliver them to the door of those in need.  Volunteers are ask to help prepare the basket for each family.  During the month of November, we will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable foods.

Operation Christmas Child/Elderly:  Christmas can be a challenging and stressful time for some families in our community.  Operation St. Nick is a way we can help relieve some of the Christmas stress.  This ministry focuses on providing Christmas morning gifts for local children and the elderly in need.  Volunteers will help sort, wrap and deliver gifts to families that have been sponsored.  Volunteers are also needed to visit and deliver a gift to home bound elderly members.

Wednesday Night Meals:  We know how busy everyone is these days.  We take delight in providing this meal so your Wednesday nights are less stressful!  These meals are a great way to serve while raising money for camps, mission trips, etc.  Working the Wednesday night meal can help meet your monetary goal need for trips and special events!  The meals are prepared and we just ask volunteers to show up to help serve and clean up.

Guatemala Missions

Danny and Kim Lopez, founders of Ministerios Buena Vista, along with their children have been missionaries in Guatemala for over 10 years.  Prior to being called to the mission field, the Lopez family attended and served at Fairview.  Our partnership with this ministry allows Fairview to succeed in our vision for global missions.

Our goal is to provide as many opportunities for people to get to experience global mission work through mission trips, child sponsorships, funding feeding centers and more.  Check out the dates and register below!

Disaster Relief

When a natural disaster happens, Fairview is always quick to jump to action (following the congregations heart).  We have traveled to numerous states to help with hurricane and tornado damage and have even helped locally after tornados ripped through our neighboring communities.

Check back to see opportunities to serve with disaster relief!

Home Repair

Projects big and small are sometimes brought to our awareness.  We assemble teams of carpenters, electricians, plumbers and helpers according to what the job entails.  When the project is complete we like to take some time to say a prayer of blessing over the family we were able to serve.
